Christine Wancket, M.S., CCC-SLP

Founder | Owner | Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Christine is a highly skilled clinician with 10 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2010 and her Master's degree in speech-language pathology in 2012. Christine is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed through the State of Illinois. She works/has worked with diverse populations across various settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient therapy, sub-acute rehabilitation and university clinic.

Christine has led both stroke and brain injury support groups, developed hospital-wide resources and protocols, and established an Aphasia course used for continuing medical education. Christine is certified in both LSVT LOUD and SPEAK OUT! for Parkinson's and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists.

Christine's dedication to evidenced-based and holistic practice coupled with person-centered care is what sets her clinical practice apart from other therapists. She prioritizes her clients' goals, questions, and concerns. Her ability to easily connect with clients and families/caregivers creates a solid foundation of compassion and trust. Christine is passionate about the field of speech-pathology and bringing awareness to its importance amongst the medical community for adult and geriatric populations.

In her spare time, Christine can be found making memories with her husband and two daughters, getting together with friends and family, hiking trails in Chicago's southwest/west suburbs, and tackling DIY home projects.
